We had an idea to create a sanctuary where the world’s free thinkers can belong. And so Locke was born - distinctively designed hotels, firmly rooted in the local neighbourhood and offering vibrant experiences and connections which nourish and enliven the soul.
We are looking for House Hosts to join our brand new Locke openings.

This role would start in May 2020.
Locke at Broken Wharf, London
This property is a 113-room aparthotel on Upper Thames Street in The City. As well as 113 apartments, Broken Wharf will have co-working space, a coffee shop, cocktail bar, deli/restaurant allowing for a capacity of up to 160 covers. The aparthotel also features a gym, yoga classes and a variety of workshops and events.

In an (overly simplistic) nutshell our House Hosts are:
- Confident and effervescent individuals, focused on curating an experience that each one of our guests desires from the moment they step over our threshold
- Endlessly curious – reading our guests and adapting approaches to suit the individual and not the masses
But most importantly they are humans like us.
When guests return home inspired, with stories to tell and discoveries to share, you will have been successful. They will come back more often and tell others. This will be the tale of Locke.
In return we offer you a bonus scheme, holidays (including the option to buy more if you want them), wellbeing benefits (Cash Plan and an Employee Assistance Programme), free nights in our properties, awesome recognition schemes, pension (the tax efficient way), company sick pay and further benefits tailored to your individual needs.
But most importantly, we offer you a role in our story and the chance to write your own chapter.
We believe in working flexibly – this includes flexibility in work location, working days (including weekends and bank holidays in operations) and working hours. This may be ad hoc or permanent flexibility. Ask your recruiting manager or see our careers page for more information.
Please note we are looking for both Day and Night House Hosts. Day Hosts will work shifts up to 8 hours long and working times vary between 7am and 11pm. Night Hosts shifts will also be 8 hours long with working times between 10pm and 8am. Please specify on your application what shift pattern you are applying for.
Successful candidates will be invited to a Casting Day which is being held on Tuesday 31st March at 4pm - further details will be given once shortlisting has commenced.
